Item Rating and X5 Inventory

Item rating comment is resolved today. All is fully functional now.

Every comment might be eligible with $2 VC.

 

X5 inventory is still  on bug issues, we are currently working on it. We tested few days ago, apparently it listed only half and all new items did not go thru.

We apologize for this.

Something weird is up. I just won an auction - the auction finished and I was highest bidder. I double-checked when the item showed on closed auctions - I was listed as the winner, and I even checked all bids in the "view result". As the item wasn't showing in my "unconfirmed wins" on My X5, I found the item in the "My auctions" listing - imagine my surprise to find the item open again with some 7 minutes to go!!! Another user wound up gazumping me in the last couple of seconds (once the item went thru to MAX extra time) and so I lost the item. How can this happen X5? I can understand late bids being processed, but so late that not only was it listed in closed auctions but i had time to view results and chase the listing thru My X5??? NOT HAPPY JAN. I am sending thru screen shots of this directly to James.

Thank you for again letting us know what is happening -- I was rather surprised at the small number of new things I could find, but now you have explained that, I see there is much more to look forward to! I think the opportunity for comments on the items will be very good and helpful to all of us. Good luck with getting rid of the bugs!

Thanks for letting us know that X5 Comment is fully functional now. So good to see X5 got my item comments. Hope they help other members know more about the product.

Thanks for the update X5. Didn't know there was a problem with item rating comments but good to know all is ok now. I had started to try post item comments when I noticed it in the item descriptions page. This was a few days before the announcement of X5 Comment. Good to see my comments went through.

Not happy to hear X5 Inventory launch is having problems. I was really looking forward to the new items. Oh Well, hope you fix the bugs soon so we can all see what new items X5 have on offer. Can't wait

X5 Inventory is still on bug issues explains everything. I was wondering what was happening as I see the items X5 have started to list again but none of them were the new items X5 mentioned in the blog. That can't be good that they didn't go through. Hope the bug issue can be fixed. Good luck and keep up the hard work.

Hi all, don't know if anyone else feels this way but I feel customer service sometimes doesn't properly read messages sent. I sent a message requesting help with something and the reply I got had nothing to do with what I asked.

Is there any news on when new items will start to appear? These bug issues are a pain.

James, you said all new items did not go thru, which was 2 days ago. Can you say when you will try again? Is all this pending you getting new servers. The bugs seem to be causing all sorts of grief for you guys. Is the end in sight?

It seems to be a long waiting game on new inventory. Happy to wait, if we could get a rough idea of when it might be fixed. I'm checking each day, and its frustrating. It maybe better to come back in a week, when hopefully all is good again.

Hi I have had the same problem with responses from support and sometime I have resent all information and still it would appear that the message is not being read correctly. At first I thought it was me but now I give item details times etc so there is no question of what has happened.

I had the same problem as Eric and was extremely dissappointed. Here's hopping things are fixed know? I tend not to bid after the last 5 mins because of this but if that problem is fixed I will try again.

i agree with Ngoc (9) i have sent several emails with different queries/problems and i rarely get an answer that is to do with the query/problem. mostly i get " please your patience" i don't think anyone reads the emails properly. maybe there should be someone that can read and "understand" them and then we would get the proper answers. cheers everyone.

hi eric(1) i had a similar problem in that i thought i lost a mobile phone. it showed as LOST in the won/lost section. i did'nt bother to see who had won as i was disappointed at being so close and then losing it. over one week later i was going through "my auctions"(it still says lost) and decided to see how much i lost by. imagine my shock to see that i had in fact "WON"!!! how can that be?? even now it still says lost. naturally i have lost it now as it is too late to confirm. what is going on with all these bugs and hiccups affecting the rest of the program. i am very angry. have a good day everyone, i am going to sulk for a while!!
