Important Momentum, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Date 17 Dec, 2009 | Category Announcement

I would like to take this opportunity to Wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009 to all X5 members, X5 Reseller, X5 Supplier and X5 Tech Team.

It has been a massive year for X5. We develop much more function, sales, network and system.

We grow much more than we can think of and we even come across much more hiccuphs with server crash, not enough stock, warehouse full, New Staff members, etc

I would like to take this time to inform what will be the biggest change for X5 Starting January 2010.

1st of all all Paid bids will be eliminated and will be replace with FREE BIDS only. It has been ongoing  issue and abuse by some members with VC and few other attempt has been brought down by X5 Security team. But we dont see this abuse will stop, so we are working on new way to reduce temptation for people to abuse.

2nd X5 will introduce new offer where Postage anywhere in Australia will be around  $10 to $20 only for most items. And we will offer FREE POSTAGE for consolidated purchased above $75.00. That means if you purchase or win any items and in total orders of exceeding $75 within  your purchase order in one shipment to your home, then we will charge no postage.

3rd X5 Spider will come out. We will partner with a lot of site to deliver all Hi Tech items. You also can rate this store and comments. We want to bring items tha X5 dont have and link to the world of Wide Web for you to explore more.

4th X5 Track and Trace is now live but on January every single order with X5 members will be notified by the system, when we despatch, which item, what tracking number, what item including to re trace back at X5.

5th on 18 January we will have New Shipment coming in loaded with 2 Containers will blast to X5. Before this date, X5 will do massive clearance on all items and we will start with LOW POSTAGE and FREE Postage for all purchase above  $75.00 within Australia. Although we are still working with Carrier about postage discount for Overseas.

This is the top 5 changes you will see at X5. X5 support will run thru this Christmas. We decided to keep running the support since some of X5 reseller do not close for business. So we continue this support. Although on Christmas Eve X5 staff might be drunk all of the places or maybe at side of the beach under the Sparkling Sun or Moonlight.

Once again, I wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Look forward the new Year with 5 Top Changes.

Sounds like some good changes but after recent email from X5 I'm not sure if I will continue to use site and see how they all work. Merry Xmas and happy new year to those at X5 that have been so helpful this year. Disappointing that a small misunderstanding has spoilt a fun year on X5

hi x5, i think you are on the right track. postage was one of the major problems and it looks like you may have found a way around it, well done. packing is another problem as nearly all parcels are open to stealing and losing bits falling through holes but if you can trace them then it will be a huge help and hopefully fewer items will go walking. it is great to see you constantly striving to make things better for everyone. if you keep it up you will be a front runner in the market place, and you will find the clients will support you all the way. good luck in your endeavors and i hope it all works out, for my sake as well as yours LOL :) :) i do not celebrate christmas but i hope you all have a really good holiday and come back to x5 refreshed and ready for the new year, best wishes to all at X5 and thank you for all that you have done for me for the last 2 years that i have been a member, chris :) :)

Hi X5 team. Your changes sound fantastic. I much prefer the free bidding as I seem to have so much more success with that and it will certainly make you the forerunner in lowest bid auction sites. Good on you for being brave enough to take this step - I think it will grow your business enormously in the new year. Your postage changes also sound awesome and once again I applaud you for taking these steps. I'm interested in becoming a reseller in the new year and look forward to receiving some more information about this. Have a fabulous Christmas and hope the new year is very joyful and prosperous for you and your team. Kind regards Annette Hird

hi x5, i have been reading all the blogs and find that dennis may not come back in the new year due to a small misunderstanding. don't let these types of problems let you lose clients, we have had our share of misunderstandings in the past and i expect we will have some more in the future but we managed to overcome them, communication is the key. to dennis, i hope you work things out and will come back. X5 has a lot to learn and communicating with clients (quickly and regularly) is one of the biggest so think hard before you leave especially as things will get better in the future (maybe) and remember, WE paid the big prices for our winnings so now it is time to get something a bit cheaper and maybe the items will be worth winning this time round. i, for one, will be looking to recoup some of my excessive postages in the new year, i hope you will stay, you have been with X5 for a long time, have a great holiday everyone, it must get better in the coming year!! (hopefully)so i was told!? chris

Wow guys, those are some pretty mighty changes... speaking as a reseller the Track system is an absolutely fantastic tool; as an X5 user I love the postage discounts, been one of our bugbears for ages. I like the sounds of the spider - will your postage prices apply to those items too??? Guess I better unmelt the credit card in preparation for the clearance items... And a very merry christmas to all X5 staff, especially James, and to all us X5ers too!!

hi everyone, i have just been given $10.00 VC and i was thinking "what a waste". there are no PAID auctions to bid on now and, from what i am reading, there will be NO "PAID" auctions in 2010. what will happen to VC, will it still be on or will it be cancelled out completely. if VC is still going to be around how will it work, would'nt it be better to save it up and collect it when you have about (maybe) $100.00, then you would have a real amount to use on the bigger listings or maybe change it to "real" money for bidding. i just feel that this $10 is a waste of time for me and X5, there is nothing left to bid on and no PAID listings. so what do you X5ers think?? should it stay or go, over to you. regards chris

postage discounts will be good they have been very expensive happy new year to all

8. Adelle (10 Jan, 2010 - 14:30)

Thank you so much for lowering the postage. I will definately bid more now that I know I will be getting the item at a cheap total price. That's fantastic! If postage is $10 or under the items are great for cheap but good birthday presents for kids's friends. Thanks X5!!!!

Hi everyone, I have been away and am just catching up with all these changes. I am very glad to read that track and trace willbe available because I am very tired of not receiving products. I think the flat postage rates and combined items are also positive and long overdue. It will be great to see more variety available once the new stock comes in.
