Ans. There are a few steps to be followed to bid on X5 Auctions. These steps include:
1. Register – The first step is simply to register with X5. Registration is free. Fill in the registration form with the information and a valid email address. You need to remember the Username and Password which is kept confidential. X5 take no responsibilities for any activities that occur under your subscription or account. The registration is confirmed once you click on the link that is provided to you in the email you had provided. Remember! Your username is a unique identity which cannot be changed.
2. Login – Once your registration is confirmed, you can login to X5 using the username and password that you have used at the time of registration. It is not mandatory to use the same password; you can change the password by typing a new one in the password field on the Edit Profile page.
3. Purchase Credit – You can now deposit money in your X5 account by simply using any of the following methods:

4. Placing a Bid – Click on the “Bid Now” option for the item/product that you wish to win. After clicking, you will be taken to the “Place Your Bid” page where you can enter the amount for the bid.
Now simply click on “Submit Your Bid” button.

Q What are the legal requirements for a user to bid on X5? What are the official policies for bidding?
Ans. At the time of registering with X5, you need to be over 18 years of age having a legal competence to enter into an agreement. X5 bidding is open to all citizens of Australia and New Zealand.

Then simply click on “Submit Your Bid” button. The status of your bid will be shown to you and an email will be sent to you on that effect. You can check your “Bid History Page” also to view the status.
You can make more than one bid at a time. There is no restriction in the number of bids that you want to make. To place another bid, click on “Place another bid” button.
It is to be mentioned here, that the bid once made cannot be withdrawn or refunded back.
An email will be sent to you to notify you of the changes in the status of the bid.

Q How will I be notified about the closure of the auction?
Ans. Quite simple! A reminder mail will be sent 24 hours or 5 hours before the bid closes to all bidding members who had joined the auction.

Q What is the procedure of winning a bid?
Ans. The person holding the lowest unique bid at the time of closure of the auction for a particular product is declared as the winner of the bid for that item. The lowest unique bid is the lowest price which has not been offered by any other bidding member for the particular product.

Ans. Whosoever wins the bid, an email will be sent to the winning bidder to assure the win. The winner of the bid is given 7 days to finish off the completion and purchase of the product. If the winner does not turns up to confirm the win, the auction is debarred and closed after 7 days.
