How do I Bid?

X5 is a reverse auction website in which the lowest unique bid wins. A lowest bid is the amount of money between the highest and the lowest price offered for an item or product. The amount closest to the lowest bid (where no other user has bid the same amount) is known as “Lowest and Unique Bid”. To buy the product at your bidding price, you must be the one with the LOWEST AND UNIQUE bid at the auction’s end - "The lowest unique bid".

3 easy steps to bid on X5

Register – To keep our inquires organized we require you to Register your Account. It is wise enough to keep the username and password confidential. No responsibilities will be undertaken by X5 for the activities that occurs at your subscription or account.

Login – As the password received,the bidder will login into the account using the email address and the password given. The password can be changed if you want. To change the password, go to Edit Profile page and type in a new password.

Purchase Credit – Get money in your account.

4 simple ways to get funds in to your account:

Paymate/Paypal – There is a minimum amount of $5 that needs to be deposited on the Purchase Credit Page of X5. This includes Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Then click on "Paymate/Paypal Click Here to Pay". This will direct you to the Paymate website, where you need to complete the transaction by entering your credit card details, or using your Paymate/Paypal account if you have one. Once this is done, you can return back to X5.

Direct Deposit – For direct deposit in your bid bank, send money to:

The funds will be credited to your bid bank within 5 business days, once it gets cleared from our account,

Money Order – You can send your money order to PO Box a39 Arncliffe, NSW Australia, payable at Perfect Empire Corp. It will take up to 5 business days for the funds to be credited to your bid account and that too, upon receipt of the money order.

Cheque - A cheque payable to Perfect Empire Corp can also be issued. On receiving a cheque, the funds will be loaded to your bid account within 5 business days.

Now, Click on "Bid Now" button for the item you wish to purchase. After clicking, you will be taken to the “Place Your Bid” page where you can enter the amount for the bid, for a dollar amount, in the left box and cents in the right box.

Now click "Submit your Bid" and you are done with it.

The status of your bid will be shown to you via an email. You can make as many bids as you wish to bid. For this, simply click on “Place another bid” button and repeat the same procedure again.

How the lowest unique bidder is selected?

There is a 3rd company computerized system that automatically checks all bids entered in real time on any item and finds the lowest unique bidder. It will also notify you of the status of your bid.

Procedure to resolve the Lowest and Unique Bid

a unique bid is one where no other bidder has placed a bid for the same amount. The bid amount must be above $0.01 and should be a price that a bidder considers to be the lowest unique bid.

For example if the auction was for an item with the following details:

In this example the lowest and unique bidder is the bidder of $0.04. After the bidder has won the bid with the lowest and unique bid, the bidder is awarded the auction result and would have to pay only 4 cents for the product for which the bid was won.

Thus the total amount that the bidder will have to pay is the Bid Amount + Admin Fee i.e. $0.04 + $5. The admin fee will increase to the number of times the bidder has bid for the product in question.

Consider: Throughout the auction the Lowest and Unique Bid changes frequently, if in this example someone else was to bid $0.04, then, $0.04 would no longer be a “Unique” bid, meaning it would be no longer the lowest and unique bid, and $0.07 would become the lowest and unique bid. Moreover, if someone bids at $0.02, which no one bid previously, then it would become the lowest and unique bid.
